Wedding Catering in Sotogrande

Wedding catering across Sotogrande's estates, marina and polo grounds, with our own equipment, kitchen and full service team.

Sotogrande operates differently from the rest of the coast. The estates are large, private and quiet, with generous grounds and strict controls on access and noise. Weddings in Sotogrande Alto and La Reserva tend towards formal seated dinners; the marina and polo grounds suit larger, more open formats. Distances within the resort are considerable, so vehicle movements and timings are planned in detail. We cater from ten to two hundred and fifty guests with live cooking and full service.

Where we work

Wedding venues in Sotogrande

  • Sotogrande Alto — large hillside estates with extensive grounds for formal seated wedding dinners
  • Sotogrande Costa — established lower villas with mature gardens close to the beach and marina
  • La Reserva — elevated private properties with long approach roads and controlled resort access
  • Valderrama and San Roque Club — golf-side settings suited to structured receptions and evening service
  • Puerto de Sotogrande marina and polo grounds — open waterside and field settings for larger celebrations

How we work on site

All equipment, refrigeration, tableware and staff arrive with us. Sotogrande villas usually have substantial kitchens and we cook in them where permitted; where the kitchen is off limits or the setting is open ground such as the polo fields, we build a full outdoor kitchen with our own grills and cold storage. A hundred-guest wedding is staffed by four chefs, twelve waiters and three bartenders, with florists and porters for furniture. We are on site two hours before service at minimum, and four to five hours ahead when furniture and decor are extensive.

Season & booking

Sotogrande is busiest from mid-April to mid-October, with August especially dense as the resort fills. Polo season concentrates demand further, and dates around it are taken well in advance. Bookings reach us anywhere from a week to two years out; for August we would strongly advise the longer end. Outside the season the resort empties and availability opens up considerably.

What our clients say

5.0
We hired FlexFood Marbella Catering to host our elopement wedding in San Roque, and it was the best thing we did. They were amazing and very professional. They took care of the decorations, the wedding cake and all the food was delicious. Thank you Nataly and Ilya, you made our day even more special.

Frequently asked questions

Can you cater on the polo grounds or open ground in Sotogrande?

Yes. Open settings mean no kitchen at all, so we build one — grills, refrigeration and prep stations transported and assembled on site. We have previously constructed a full working kitchen on a breakwater, so open ground is well within our scope.

How far ahead should we book in Sotogrande?

Between one week and two years, depending on the date. August and the polo season book earliest and we recommend confirming as far ahead as possible. Late April, May and October are considerably easier to secure at short notice.

Is a minimum order applied?

Yes. The minimum is set by the guest count your chosen menu requires, not by attendance on the day. Pricing starts at €50 per guest; tell us the format and numbers and we will confirm the figure in writing.

What languages does the team speak?

English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French and Arabic. English is the working language on site, which fits Sotogrande's international resident and visitor profile, while Spanish covers all local coordination.

Who is responsible for permits at the marina or polo grounds?

The client secures any permits required for public or shared locations, including the marina and polo grounds. Once the conditions are confirmed we build our delivery, setup and service schedule around the permitted hours and access routes.
