Catering for villa celebrations and weddings across Mijas Pueblo and Mijas Costa.
From the whitewashed streets of Mijas Pueblo to the villas of Mijas Costa and La Cala, this hillside town offers some of the coast's best views. We bring mountain-to-sea catering to weddings, birthdays and private dinners.
Our team handles villas with panoramic terraces and rustic fincas alike — full kitchen on site, no compromise on the menu.
Most of what we do in Mijas happens behind private gates. Hillside fincas above Mijas Pueblo and villas across Mijas Costa and La Cala account for the overwhelming majority of bookings — usually thirty to a hundred and twenty guests, occasionally up to our ceiling of 250. The complication here is elevation: access roads narrow as they climb, terraces sit on three or four levels, and service has to move between them without guests noticing.
Clients are more often owners than visitors — summer villa openings, milestone birthdays, and weddings for couples who marry in the village and dine above it. Golf resort areas bring corporate groups and smaller private dinners. Kitchens in these houses are built for a family of six rather than a hundred covers, so we plan from the outset for either restrained use of the house kitchen or a full outdoor build.
How we work on site
We arrive at least two hours before service, and four to five when furniture, florals and decor form part of the brief. Where the villa kitchen is usable we cook in it; where it is not, or the owner would rather we did not, we build an outdoor kitchen and work from that. Everything else travels with us: ovens, grills, refrigeration, china, glassware, linen and bar kit. A hundred-guest event runs on four chefs, twelve waiters and three bartenders, plus florists and porters for furniture. On hillside plots we add time for the carry between the parking point and the terrace.
Season & booking
Our season runs from mid-April to mid-October, with dates outside that window taken on request. Mijas fills unevenly. The village and the hillside fincas peak in late spring and September, when the heat is manageable at altitude, while Mijas Costa and La Cala hold steady through July and August on villa parties. Weddings are typically confirmed one to two years ahead; birthdays and private dinners often come together a week or two before the date.
Villas & venues
- Mijas Pueblo — village houses and courtyards, narrow access, seated dinners for smaller groups
- Mijas Costa — coastal villas with pool terraces, our busiest setting for BBQ service
- Mijas Costa gated communities — private roads, controlled entry, deliveries staged in advance
- La Cala de Mijas — garden villas and residential properties, weddings and large family celebrations
- Hillside fincas with sea views — multi-level terraces, long carries, sunset drinks then seated service
- Golf resort areas — private residences within resorts, corporate dinners and compact banquet formats

Frequently asked questions
Do you cater in Mijas Pueblo and Mijas Costa?
Both — from the historic village to coastal villas in Mijas Costa and La Cala de Mijas.
Can you cater villas with terraces?
Yes — we set up full outdoor kitchens for villas with panoramic terraces.
What does catering in Mijas cost per guest?
Buffet menus start at €60 per guest, the Spanish buffet at €50, and BBQ at €75 with a ten-guest minimum. Seated banquets begin at €100 for three courses, €125 for four and €150 for five. All figures exclude 21% VAT.
Can you work if the villa kitchen is unavailable?
Yes. We build a mobile kitchen on site and cook from it. At one birthday for 120 guests the owner asked us not to touch the house kitchen at all, so we brought six grills and ran the entire service outdoors.
How far in advance should we book?
Bookings reach us anywhere from one week to two years ahead. Weddings and larger villa events in high summer should be secured as early as possible, while smaller dinners and gastro box deliveries can often be arranged at short notice, subject to team availability.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes. The minimum is calculated from the smallest guest count of the menu you choose, not from how many people actually arrive on the day. BBQ, for example, starts at ten guests. We cater events from ten guests up to 250.
