Catering on the Costa del Sol

Catering for weddings, corporate events and villa dinners across the whole Costa del Sol.

From Sotogrande to Málaga, we cater the entire Costa del Sol — private villas, beach clubs, golf resorts and landmark venues. One team, one standard, wherever your event takes place.

Tell us the location and we'll bring the kitchen: full staff, signature menus and logistics dialled in from coast to coast.

The coast reads as one strip on a map and behaves as several in practice. West of Marbella — Puerto Banús, the New Golden Mile, Estepona and Sotogrande — properties are larger, guest counts higher and briefs more produced: weddings, brand events and corporate hospitality. East through Mijas, Fuengirola, Málaga and into the Axarquía, events are smaller, more domestic and more often family-led.

Inland is a different job again. Fincas towards Álora and Coín sit at the end of long approach tracks, with limited power and frequently no kitchen worth using, which is where we build our own. Across all of it, 95% of our work is private villas and fincas under NDA, from ten guests at a private chef dinner to 250 at a wedding. In 2025 we delivered 84 events in four months, and that geography dictates how we crew and schedule.

How we work on site

Crew calls are set by distance rather than the clock. Marbella and Mijas are short runs; Sotogrande in the west and the Axarquía in the east add an hour each way, and inland fincas add more again on unsurfaced approaches. We arrive two hours before service as a minimum, four to five where furniture and florals are involved, and earlier still on remote plots. If the property kitchen works we cook in it, and if not we build one. Equipment, china, glassware and bar stock travel with us. A hundred guests takes four chefs, twelve waiters and three bartenders.

Season & booking

The season runs mid-April to mid-October, with winter dates on request. Demand does not fall evenly across the coast: the western end books furthest ahead, driven by weddings confirmed one to two years in advance, while the eastern towns fill later and more spontaneously. July and August are effectively full most years — in 2025 we delivered 84 events across four months — so any date tied to a specific property is worth holding early.

Villas & venues

  • Marbella — private villas across hillside and beachside urbanisations, the densest part of our diary
  • Puerto Banús — marina properties and brand events; we once built a kitchen on the breakwater
  • Estepona & New Golden Mile — large gated villas, long lawns, weddings with marquees and staging
  • Sotogrande — estate properties at the western limit, longer travel and earlier crew calls
  • Mijas, Fuengirola & Málaga — villas and gardens, family celebrations at a domestic scale
  • Inland fincas towards Álora and Coín — rustic properties, limited power, outdoor kitchens built from scratch

Frequently asked questions

Which areas of the Costa del Sol do you cover?

All of it — Marbella, Estepona, Sotogrande, Mijas, Fuengirola, Málaga and everywhere between.

Do you travel for events?

Yes — we bring a full kitchen and team to villas and venues across the entire coast.

Can we have a barbecue on the beach?

Open fire is prohibited on Costa del Sol beaches outside designated areas, and those spots are not places anyone books catering. We run BBQ at villas with pools instead, from €75 per guest with a minimum of ten guests, cooked and served on site.

How large an event can you handle?

From ten guests up to 250. Below that range a private chef dinner is usually the better format, and above it we would rather decline than compromise the service. A hundred-guest event runs on four chefs, twelve waiters and three bartenders, plus florists and porters.

Do you cover events at public locations?

Public sites are possible, though permits are the client's responsibility to obtain and timelines vary by town hall. It happens rarely: around 95% of our work takes place at private villas and fincas, where access, power and licensing are all far simpler to resolve.

When should we start planning a wedding here?

Enquiries reach us anywhere from one week to two years out. For a summer wedding at a private villa, twelve to eighteen months is realistic if you want the date, the property and the full team aligned. Smaller dinners need considerably less notice.
