Sotogrande has a different rhythm again: fewer events, much larger properties, and clients who value discretion above everything else. Work concentrates in Sotogrande Alto and Sotogrande Costa, on the La Reserva side, and around Valderrama and San Roque Club during golf weeks. Most bookings are seated dinners and tasting-menu evenings for ten to sixty, with the occasional wedding closer to our ceiling of 250 guests.
Clients here are residents, members and families who entertain the same circle repeatedly, so menus rarely repeat and staff are expected to be unobtrusive. Distance is the main operational factor — it is a long transport leg for equipment and there is no returning for a forgotten item. The polo grounds and Puerto de Sotogrande marina add open sites where the kitchen is built from nothing.
How we work on site
Sotogrande is our longest drive, so we load for self-sufficiency: ovens, grills, refrigeration, china, glassware, linen, bar equipment and spares of everything breakable. The team is on site two hours before service, four to five hours when furniture, florals and décor form part of the brief. Villa kitchens here are generous and we usually cook in them; at the polo grounds and around the marina there is no kitchen at all, so we build one. A hundred guests is four chefs, twelve waiters and three bartenders, with florists and porters on the earlier vehicle.
Season & booking
The season runs mid-April to mid-October, but Sotogrande peaks later and more sharply than Marbella: August, the polo weeks and the golf calendar concentrate demand into a handful of dates that are taken a year or more ahead. Smaller villa dinners can still be arranged with a week's notice in June or late September. Outside the season we work to order, and residents who stay year-round tend to entertain in smaller numbers.

What does a seated banquet cost per guest?
Banquet service starts at €100 per guest for three courses, €125 for four and €150 for five, before 21% VAT. Buffet formats begin at €60 and the Spanish buffet at €50. Wine, furniture hire and florals are quoted separately from the menu itself.
Which languages does your team speak?
English is our working language, and our staff also speak Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French and Arabic. For Sotogrande dinners we match front-of-house to the guest list, so a host is never translating for their own table in the middle of service.
Do you need access to the villa kitchen?
Yes, wherever it is available — cooking in the villa kitchen is faster and quieter for the guests. When a property does not permit it, or the event is on an open site, we build a full mobile kitchen with our own ovens, grills and refrigeration and work outdoors.
How early should Sotogrande dates be reserved?
Peak weekends in August and during the polo and golf weeks are usually taken twelve months or more in advance, and we accept bookings up to two years ahead. Quieter dates in spring and late autumn can often be confirmed with about a week's notice.
