A luxury picnic is a set piece rather than a meal service. Everything happens before guests arrive: the spot is scouted, linen and low tables are laid, and the food is built to hold beautifully in Andalusian heat. Most bookings are small, ten to thirty people, in villa gardens across Nueva Andalucía, Elviria and Las Chapas, or on the sand near Puerto Banús. What matters to the client is the arrival moment and the photographs. Unlike a buffet, nothing is replenished mid-service, so portioning, chilling and shade are decided in advance.
How we work on site
We arrive two hours before guests for a straightforward garden set-up, four to five when furniture, linen and floral styling are involved. Everything travels with us: tables, cushions, crockery, glassware and cool boxes. No villa kitchen is required, since picnic food is prepared at base and finished on site. A small picnic runs with two staff; larger garden parties add servers and a bartender. We stay discreetly nearby, then clear and collect once guests have gone.

Good to know
Is there a minimum order for a luxury picnic?
There is. Menus are priced per guest from €50, with a minimum guest count attached to each format — ten on the buffets and BBQ. If your final headcount drops below it, the booking is still charged against the minimum.
How far ahead should we book?
Our season runs from mid-April to mid-October, and bookings reach us anywhere between one week and two years ahead. A fortnight is comfortable for a picnic, though peak summer Saturdays go early. Always ask, even at short notice.
Can you set up somewhere with no kitchen or power?
Yes. Picnic menus are designed for exactly that. Food is prepared in our own kitchen, transported chilled and assembled on site. If a hot element is wanted at a remote finca or beach, we build a temporary outdoor kitchen instead.
How do you keep food safe in summer heat?
Menus are chosen for stability: cured, cooked or acidulated items rather than anything fragile. Everything travels in temperature-controlled boxes, is laid out under shade at the last possible moment, and staff monitor the table throughout the service.
Do you handle beaches as well as private gardens?
Both, though public locations are rare for us. Any permit a beach set-up requires is obtained by the client, not by us; once it is in place we plan the layout around the permitted hours and the tide. Villa gardens across Sierra Blanca, Nueva Andalucía and the New Golden Mile are simpler and allow fuller styling.
